Magnesium Limestone £10,000
Peter has carved a copy of a barcode from The Financial Times during the recent financial crisis. He says: "To most people barcodes are just as indecipherable as hieroglyphics". Peter spent 10 years engaged on restoration work at York Minster.

Peter’s sculptures are a truly beautiful fusion of ancient techniques and qualities, juxtaposed with hyper-modern technology and innovation.
I have been working as a stonecarver and sculptor for over 20 years and have been in business since 2001. I have acquired experience in the commercial stone industry, in the heritage restoration environment at York Minster, in the realm of public art, and in the development of my own professional artwork.
My current research project has been determined by ideas and experience relating to differences between constructive and reductive sculptural creativity as encountered during my professional working practice and from the academic stimulus.
