The bank holiday event will celebrate the anniversaries of two of our engines, The Royal Scot and Countess de Grey miniature engines which are marking 70 and 50 years of passenger service, respectively.
We first opened our own miniature railway in 1971 and have since welcomed more than two million passengers.
To help us celebrate we will be welcoming two visiting miniature steam engines that will run alongside the Royal Scot across the weekend.
Admission is included in your Gardens ticket, Newby Hall season ticket, and Historic Houses membership.
Simply book a Garden Admission ticket for any of the days and then it’s £3 per ride on the miniature railway. Under 2s are free.
