DESCRIPTION:Historic Vehicle Rally 2026\nOn Sunday 19th July 2026\, Newby Hall will be surrounded by vintage and classic cars\, for the North’s biggest one-day car show – the annual Historic Vehicle Rally.  Please help us all to enjoy the day in a safe manner by following any instructions on site. \nOver 1\,000 exhibitors\nThe event\, which is organised by the North of England Classics and Pre War Automobiles\, attracts exhibits from all over the country.  Over 1000 vehicles of all makes\, from Aston Martin to Wolseley will be polished up by their proud owners and put on parade for one of the highlights of Newby’s opening season. \nRow upon row of gleaming cars\, have proved to be a huge draw for visitors\, over many years.  The rally appeals to serious enthusiasts\, with auto-jumble stalls to rummage in\, while more casual visitors can choose a favourite classic\, pose for a ‘selfie’ and imagine themselves at the wheel! \nWe’re excited to welcome Real Markets again this year\, known as Yorkshire’s Friendliest Markets. Curating high-quality food\, produce\, and makers’ markets across the region\, they bring together some of the best Yorkshire-based traders\, offering local and speciality goods. DESCRIPTION:Aldborough & Boroughbridge Agricultural Show is returning to the spectacular setting of Newby Hall\, nr. Ripon. The prestigious show\, to be held on Sunday July 26th 2026 includes entry into the award winning gardens and legendary adventure playground\, complete with pedalo boats\, zip wire and miniature railway!  Access to the beautiful Georgian house is also available on the day at a discounted rate.\n \nThis unique collaboration will provide the ultimate Yorkshire family day out and will give visitors the opportunity to explore local farming practices and see some of the best livestock\, vintage vehicles and produce grown in the local area. \nThis is an exciting opportunity for local people to show off their talents with a whole host of competitions in many varied categories\, including baking\, handicrafts\, horticulture\, children’s classes\, flower arranging\, photography and farm produce!  For our four legged friends’ there will be dog\, cattle and sheep showing classes and for the equine lovers there will also be our horse and donkey classes.  The heavy horses will also be an integral part of the show\, along with the fabulous private driving classes. The Grand Ring will play host to spectacular displays and competitions with the children’s races and terrier racing always a huge hit.  Newby season ticket holders receive a 50% discount on the day – no need to book\, just bring your membership card.  Historic Houses & YGHCG cards NOT accepted on show day. \nIf you would also like to visit the House\, please upgrade your ticket at the front doors of the House\, once you are in the grounds – £6 per adult or £4 per child.
