Land of the Giants!

A giant replica of a Chippendale Chair has emerged here in the gardens at Newby. To mark the 300th birthday of the famous Yorkshire furniture maker, the team at Newby created this giant replica to highlight the Chippendale collection in the house whilst also giving our visitors a chance to admire Newby’s spectacular borders which are out in full force at the moment! It’s a perfect spot to get a wonderful photo too…(here’s our Head Gardener, Mark taking five!)
