Our choice for the first ‘roaming’ Silent Space here at Newby is a quiet seat tucked away down by the river below the Herbaceous Borders.
At this time of year there is so much colour to absorb within the garden. This can be distracting for grasping a quiet thoughtful moment. Sitting on this seat with blue sky a range of greens and the reflections of both in the calm water creates the perfect environment for a Silent Space.
