Newby Hall is delighted to welcome back the prestigious Harrogate Autumn Flower Show for another incredible three days in 2024. The UK’s premier autumn gardening event takes place in the grounds of Newby Hall between 13th – 15th September and welcomes the very best in seasonal horticulture. With leading plant nurseries, a fantastic fruit and vegetable show, live advice stages and a sea of over 5000 autumn blooms combined with access to Newby’s incredible gardens and a stunning series of floral house installations, Harrogate Autumn Flower Show offers a unique experience for everyone.

Newby Season ticket holders can take advantage of special discounted admission to the event, with adults £14, children under 16 free (with full paying adult). The tickets are only available at the admission kiosk on the days of the event on production of a valid Newby Hall adult season ticket. There are no discounts for Historic Houses cardholders or other vouchers or cards for this event.

Will the show have all of my favourite features?

The favourite attractions – giant veg, leading UK plant nurseries, fruit and veg shows, fantastic autumn blooms, talks and demonstrations, crafts, gifts, food etc. are all on offer, along with the fantastic Newby Hall gardens, playground and the house.

What is the date of the 2024 show?

The Harrogate Autumn Flower Show will be at Newby on 13th – 15th September 2024.

How will I get to the show? Can I get there by public transport?

There are regular shuttle buses from Ripon town centre to Newby Hall, so you can get the number 36 bus to Ripon then the shuttle bus to the show.

How much will show tickets be?

Book your tickets for the Autumn Flower Show now to benefit from our pre-booked discount of £5.00 per ticket – offer ends Tuesday 27 August 2024.

Please note that the displayed ticket prices include the pre-booked discount. When the promotion ends, prices will be changed to £28.00 per adult ticket.

Is access to Newby’s gardens included in the price of my ticket?

Yes, along with the Adventure playground, dolls houses, teddy bear house and the contemporary sculpture trail.

Is access to the house included with the ticket?

Part of the house is included with displays for the show, but normal house tours will not be available during the flower show.

Can I use my Newby Season Ticket to get into the show?

Newby adult season ticket holders will be able to purchase an adult ticket for the discounted price £ on the gate, all children under 16 (with a full paying adult) gain free admission.

The adult discounted tickets are not available in advance but can be purchased on the day at the show ticket office on production of a valid Newby Hall adult season ticket.

There are no discounts for Historic House cardholders or other vouchers or cards.

Is parking available and will it still be free?

Yes, there is plenty of free parking for both cars and coaches. There is also allocated Blue Badge parking or preferential parking as an option when you buy your ticket.

Is there anything for children to do?

Yes, we have a fantastic adventure playground, along with a miniature train, water play and pedalo boats.

Will the show be wheelchair friendly?

Yes, the site will be fully accessible, parking & some marquees will be on grass.

Are dogs allowed?

Unfortunately, for health and safety reasons, we are not able to allow dogs, apart from assistance dogs.

The camp site is essentially a flat, level, grass field which is used as an occasional caravan site to support events at Newby Hall and Gardens throughout the year.

• Pitches are available 9th – 16th September 2024
