ITV’s Victoria at Newby Hall

ITV’s Victoria at Newby Hall

Are you enjoying ITV’s sumptuous new Sunday evening drama ‘Victoria’? Last November Newby Hall played host to the Mammoth Productions film crew as Newby Hall was to be used as sets for the series including Brooks, a Gentlemen’s Club situated in Mayfair. The Statue Gallery (which also featured heavily in Season One of Peaky Blinders) and the  Library were transformed into a smoky nineteenth century club where Lord Melbourne and the Duke of Wellington would discuss the important issues of the day. Also used were some of the exteriors, and the cellars and attics which are not open to the public, but were perfect as the kitchens at Kensington Palace and attics at Buckingham Palace. Make sure you keep your eyes peeled for more Newby Hall over the next few weeks!
